TigerJimmy old hand Registered: 15/02/2002 Posts: 1049	Hi everyone, I can't find a straight answer to this question and I can think of no better place to ask! I have software raid0 array to which I'd like to add a disk and make it a raid5 array to protect me against a (single) drive failure. Supposedly the RAID Reconfiguration Tool can be used to make this change. Has anyone successfully done this or used this tool? Is this worth considering? Thanks in advance, Jim

Not that it's impossible (or even very difficult), but somewhat improbable that anyone with the skill to do it right would even bother to write such a program! Cheers
